About the Certificate Program
The certificate program is offered through Howard-Payne University. Students enrolled in this program may earn a Certificate in Ministry. The Certificate in Ministry program is designed to provide entry-level preparation for ministry service. For more information, please see the Certificate in Ministry Brochure.
Degree Requirements
Students enrolled in the Certificate Program must earn eighteen credit hours. For a complete list of courses, click here.
The Certificate Program is available to students who have previously attended college, have graduated from high school (or achieved high school equivalency), or have not graduated from high school.
All courses taken in this program are for academic credit and may be applied to a baccalaureate degree. A minimum grade of "C" is required in each course to be applied to a degree plan. Students must apply for regular admission to HPU and meet all admission requirements in order to apply Certificate course credit to a baccalaureate degree.
