SCS Hires Three New Faculty Members

The South Texas School of Christian Studies (SCS) is proud to announce the addition of Doug Jackson, Kathy Maxwell and Nathan Maxwell as full-time resident faculty.
Doug Jackson will fulfill a joint venture between Logsdon Seminary and SCS to assign a Logsdon professor directly to the SCS campus. Prof. Jackson will instruct courses for the M.Div. program and function as a liaison between Logsdon and local churches in Corpus Christi. He is completing a D.Min. from Truett Seminary; his area of expertise is spiritual formation.
Kathy Maxwell will act as the administrator of the school as well as teach courses in biblical studies. She is a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University with a B.A. in Biblical Studies and M.Div. from Logsdon Seminary. She is currently completing a Ph.D. in Religion (ABD) from Baylor University. Her areas of expertise are biblical studies, New Testament studies, and ancient rhetoric.
Nathan Maxwell will teach courses in biblical studies, and will function as director of technology and facilities. Nathan is a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University with a B.A. in Biblical Studies and M.Div. from Logsdon Seminary. He is currently completing a Ph.D. in Religion (ABD) from Baylor University. His areas of expertise are biblical studies, Old Testament, and biblical Hebrew.
